See all the Did you knowA Politics with Economics graduate from the University of Bath (UK), Merghani began his career in Sales from a marketing placement with one of the leading sports marketing companies in the world, IMG (International Management Group), he moved into Financial Recruitment for the booming Middle Eastern Economies working from London. After spending six years in the UK, Merghani moved back to Africa to join the family business, where he was involved in sourcing new business opportunities across East and North Africa in several sectors including real estate, agriculture, technology and hospitality.
For the last three years, Merghani is based in Dubai where he is currently employed as a Private Client Manager with the leading British international medical insurance company Bupa, selling and managing a portfolio of high net worth individuals in the UAE seeking premium healthcare coverage.
Outside of his professional career, Merghani is an avid digital artist who has been contributing significantly to the Sudanese Revolution since December 2018 with numerous art pieces, most notably different themed mosaics which are comprised of thousands of photos. Four of his mosaics were displayed at the peaceful Military HQ sit-in before the June 3rd massacre where it was violently despersed and all artwork was destroyed. His mosaics were also displayed at the Oslo Freedom Forum in May 2019 and on various TV programmers and they have gone viral across social media platforms.
